Audio Jog Pro 8 Cable Tester

This version is battery powered and built in an sturdy metal case. Connectors are mounted on each side and the top face. LEDs and test switch also appear on the top face. An on/off switch is placed on the side.

The AudioJog Pro 8 is an advanced version, with two rows of nine 9 LEDs corresponding to each of the possible connector pins and one for the screen. In addition it has LEDS to indicate short and open circuit and four further LEDs indicating the state of the memory function. These show a cross-over or straight through connection of the RJ45 and 8-pin DIN connectors and, helpfully, when the cable matches the configuration in the memory, ‘passed’. The remaining LED shows when the memory function is in use “Passed” cables can be checked for intermittent faults.

Two sets of connectors are fitted to accept the following cable mounting connectors. XLR: 3-pole, male and female. A-gauge jack: 6.35mm, 3-pole or 2-pole or 2-pole. Bantam jack: 4.4mm, 3-pole or 2-pole, single or twin; Miniature jack: 3.5mm, 3-pole or 2-pole. Speakon: 4-pole. DIN: 180 degree 3-pole and 5-pole, male. RCA (Phono): male. BNC: male. These are the same as are fitted to the AudioJog Pro 5.
