The star of this self-powered speaker box is probably the coaxial speaker, with the 3″ compression driver tucked nicely in the middle of the 12″ LF driver.

Let’s dig a little deeper though. This coaxial transducer arrangement produces a 90° axi-symmetric directivity output along with a smooth tonal response free of secondary lobes over the entire frequency range, resulting in exceptional immunity to feedback, especially in monitoring situations.

Make no mistake, the quality of amplification is what really makes this speaker sing. With a power rating of 1000w @ 8ohms, 112P also has some clever DSP onboard, to manage the system crossover network, driver time alignment, and dual protection of the loudspeaker components.
