Schoeps WKC 5 Right Angled Active Cable

The Schoeps WKC 5 16.4′ Active Colette Matte Gray Cable with Right Angle Connector may be inserted between any capsule of the Colette modular system and the microphone amplifiers CMC 6, CMD 2 and M 222. The cable itself is highly resistant to stretching, bending and abrasion. Moreover it does not tend to twist after being suspended, even with temperature changes. This is of importance, e.g. when the microphone is hung from the ceiling. It is recommended that the length not be excessive for the anticipated use, to avoid radio-frequency interference from sources such as SCR-equipped lighting boards. Greater than the standard cable length of 5 m may be required when hanging a microphone from a ceiling.
